LIQUID CHALK WAX

Chalk and lime waxes are manufactured to an authentic recipe, based on pure beeswax, Carnauba wax and pigments. Chalk-lime wax, taupe coloured wax and grey coloured wax also contain additional chalk, for a nicely weathered, whitened, or slightly greyed effect.

Chalk wax is somewhat firmer than normal Vesting (Antique) Turpentine Wax >, however it does provide better coverage.

It is particularly suitable for wood with an open grain, such as oak or softer woods, such as spruce or pine, and it is less suitable for hard wood with a very fine and dense structure. Liquid Chalk Wax can also be used to bleach a coat of paint.
